About Authsignal

Millions of people log in to apps and services powered by Authsignal every month. Most of them have no idea we exist, and that’s the point.

Authsignal is the authentication and identity orchestration layer that sits on top of the identity systems companies already run and makes them modern: passkeys, adaptive MFA, no-code rules, omnichannel verification. We don’t ask companies to rip out and replace what they’ve got. We drop in on top of it.

We’re headquartered in Auckland with customers all over the world. We hold SOC2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. KuppingerCole named us a 2025 Rising Star in CIAM and Passwordless Authentication. We’re a growing team who punch well above our weight.

The Opportunity

The authentication industry is at a tipping point. Governments are banning SMS OTP. Regulators are mandating stronger customer verification. Passkeys are going mainstream. And the companies that provide the infrastructure for all of this are becoming category-defining businesses.

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join alongside our Head of Marketing and help build out the marketing function. This is a hands-on execution role in an early-stage company with serious enterprise traction. You’ll work across content, social media, events, PR, and customer communications, with clear direction and priorities from the Head of Marketing.

This is not a role where you’ll be waiting for a brief. You’ll be coordinating multiple workstreams, keeping the marketing engine running day-to-day, and working with AI-assisted content workflows alongside traditional marketing craft. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed in execution, and genuinely interested in learning the identity and cybersecurity space.

If you’re the kind of person who thrives in a builder environment — where thinking before execution is valued, where no job is ever done, and where over-communication is a feature not a bug — this is for you.

What You’ll Do

Content Coordination

  • Coordinate the content calendar and publishing schedule across the blog (Webflow), email (HubSpot), and social channels
  • Turn conversations with our founders about passkeys, orchestration, and regulatory shifts into content that makes senior security and product leaders stop scrolling
  • Edit, format, and publish blog posts, case study summaries, and thought leadership pieces — working with AI drafting tools where they accelerate the process
  • Maintain the content library and ensure assets are up to date, tagged, and accessible

Social Media

  • Manage Authsignal’s social media presence across LinkedIn (primary), Meta, X, and other relevant channels
  • Write, schedule, and publish social posts that reflect Authsignal’s voice — technical credibility without corporate blandness
  • Support the founder-led content programme by amplifying and repurposing executive posts
  • Monitor engagement, track performance, and surface what’s working (and what isn’t)

Events

  • Coordinate logistics for industry conferences and events
  • Manage pre- and post-event communications, collateral production, and follow-up sequences
  • Support speaker preparation and event promotion campaigns
  • Track event ROI and pipeline contribution in coordination with the sales team

PR & Media

  • Draft and coordinate press releases, media pitches, and announcement communications
  • Build and maintain a media contact list relevant to cybersecurity, identity, fintech, and B2B SaaS
  • Monitor industry media and flag relevant opportunities for commentary or contributed content

Customer & Prospect Communications

  • Draft and manage email communications to customers and prospects
  • Support the development of nurture sequences and lifecycle email flows
  • Maintain communication templates, ensuring brand and messaging consistency

General Marketing Support

  • Support ad hoc marketing projects as they arise — early-stage companies need people who can flex
  • Help maintain the marketing section of internal documentation and processes
  • Assist with basic reporting and data pulls

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing coordination or marketing executive role
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies — you understand the rhythms of software marketing
  • Strong written communication — you can write clearly, edit tightly, and adapt tone for different channels and audiences
  • Experience managing social media channels for a business
  • Comfortable working with marketing tools like HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation), Webflow or a CMS, Canva or similar design tools
  • Comfortable working alongside AI tools — you see them as a multiplier for your work, not a threat to it
  • Highly organised — you can juggle multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and keep projects on track without constant supervision
  • Self-starter mentality — you take initiative, ask good questions, and don’t wait to be told what to do next
  • You notice when a brand sounds like everyone else — and it bothers you
  • Based in New Zealand and able to work NZ-friendly hours

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity, identity, authentication, or fintech (or a genuine interest in learning these domains quickly)
  • Familiarity with SEO basics, Google Analytics
  • Experience writing or coordinating PR and media outreach
  • Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth business where wearing multiple hats was the norm

Why Authsignal

You’d be joining a company where the timing is unusually good. The authentication category is being reshaped by regulation, by the death of SMS OTP, by the rise of passkeys, and by enterprise buyers who are fed up with rip-and-replace migration projects. Authsignal is positioned on the right side of every one of those shifts.

  • Real enterprise traction to talk about — big global brands already on the books
  • One of the fastest-moving categories in B2B tech — customer authentication, passkeys, and digital identity are becoming boardroom topics
  • High visibility — you’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing and have regular exposure to the founder and leadership team
  • Remote-first within New Zealand, with a culture built on raw honesty and continuous iteration

Authsignal is the only customer authentication platform purpose-built to sit on top of any identity provider — so companies can modernise how their customers log in without migrating off the systems they already run. If that sentence makes you curious, we should talk.
